Amy Acheson concentrates her practice in civil and commercial litigation.
She has extensive experience in all phases of litigation in state and federal courts, and
in alternative dispute resolution.
Amy is a graduate of Haverford College (B.A., Economics 1984) and the University of South Carolina School of Law (J.D., 1987, cum laude) where she was
a member of the South Carolina Law Review, the Order of the Coif, and the Order of the Wig and Robe.
Amy is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, and the United States Courts of Appeals for the Third, Fourth and Tenth Circuits.
Amy lives in Pittsburgh and is an active member of the Allegheny County Bar Association.
She currently serves on the Board of Directors of Presbyterian Seniorcare Network, Inc., and is a past officer and member of the board of Shadyside Presbyterian Church School (2001-2003), The Woodwell (1992-1999), the Red Cross RSVP (1990-1992), and The PLEA Agency (1982-1992).
