SAN DIEGO MAGAZINE NAMES DAN HULL "TOP LAWYER" IN INTERNATIONAL LAW

SAN DIEGO/WASHINGTON DC, April 3, 2013 - San Diego Magazine has included J. Daniel Hull, a partner in the San Diego branch of Hull McGuire PC, as one of the region's "Top Lawyers". Hull was one of four lawyers named in the overall practice area of international law.

The selections were made from the database of Martindale-Hubbell, a lawyer peer review rating system now used globally. Approximately 8% of lawyers in the San Diego area made the list.

Hull acts for clients both nationally (federal courts) and internationally (arbitrations) in Canada, Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Germany, France, Austria, Spain, Switzerland, Italy, the Czech Republic, Hungary and The Netherlands.

Raised in Michigan, Illinois and Ohio, Hull graduated from Duke University with honors, and from the University of Cincinnati College of Law, where he was an editor of the Law Review. After law school, he worked for two members of the U.S. Congress, and eventually became a partner in the Washington, D.C. office of a Pennsylvania-based law firm.

He later co-founded Pittsburgh-based Hull McGuire. The firm focuses on corporate transactions, taxation, international law, litigation, intellectual property, environmental law, employment practices, and legislative (lobbying). It also has offices in San Diego and Washington, D.C.

A resident of Rancho Bernardo, CA since 1997, Hull is past Vice-Chair of the Rancho Bernardo Planning Board, a land use and transportation advisory body chartered by the City of San Diego.

Hull is a member of the bars of California, Maryland, Pennsylvania and the District of Columbia. He is also included in Who's Who in America and Who's Who in American Law.
