Hull McGuire Adds Lawyers To Washington And Pittsburgh Offices
Pittsburgh/Washington, D.C., 10/17/2002 - Hull
McGuire PC, a corporate law boutique headquartered in Pittsburgh,
Pennsylvania, today announced the following addition of lawyers to the
firm:
- Albert D. Sturtevant, a corporate lawyer and
securities law specialist, as of counsel to its Washington, D.C. office,
effective November 1, 2002.
- Jo-Anne M. Mineweaser as an associate
corporate lawyer to its Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania office, effective
immediately.
A graduate of Yale College and Yale Law School, and a
native of Washington, D.C., Mr. Sturtevant served in the Securities and
Exchange Commission's (SEC) Division of Trading and Markets before
entering private practice in 1973. While at the SEC, he also
served as Special Counsel in the Division of Market Regulation, where he
specialized in matters involving securities trading practices.
Mr. Sturtevant's experience includes private placements and
venture capital financings, public offerings, tender offers, going private
transactions, mergers and acquisitions, proxy solicitations, and
international transactional matters. He also has represented
clients in securities law enforcement litigation.

Sturtevant, and we are excited to have him as a problem-solver and
resource for our clients," said Julie McGuire, Hull McGuire's
Managing Shareholder. "In addition to his corporate and
securities enforcement background, Al's experience in international issues
will complement our expanding international tax and transactional
practices in the U.S. and abroad," Ms. McGuire said.
Jo-Anne M. Mineweaser has also joined the firm's Pittsburgh
office as an associate lawyer where initially she will assist Hull McGuire
shareholder Julie McGuire in the areas of international tax and
transactions. Before joining Hull McGuire, Ms. Mineweaser
served as an in-house counsel to Aristech Chemical Corporation, where she
focused on employment practices law, employee benefits and litigation,
and, prior to that, was in-house counsel to INDSPEC Chemical Corporation.
A native of Massachusetts, Ms. Mineweaser is a 1995
graduate of the University of Pittsburgh's School of Law, where she was an
editor of the Law Review and admitted to the Order of the Coif. She
also holds an M.B.A. from the University of Pittsburgh Katz Graduate
School of Business and a B.S. degree from the Pennsylvania State
University in Management Information Systems.
