The firm is active throughout the U.S. and the globe. It
serves as both business advisors and litigators to companies headquartered
or doing business in the United States, Germany, the United Kingdom and
several other jurisdictions. Hull McGuire is the Western
Pennsylvania member of the International Business Law Consortium (IBLC)
based in Salzburg, Austria, and a member of the IBLC's
Business Development Group based in London. Long-standing
clients include several Fortune 500 companies, large privately held firms,
and several high-technology companies.
The firm began in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on March 17, 1992. Later
that year, it opened an office in Washington, D.C., which concentrates on
regulatory disputes and legislative matters. In 2002, it opened
an office in southern California to focus on corporate planning, tax law
and intellectual property.
