HULL McGUIRE SHAREHOLDER IN ROME FOR TWO
CONFERENCES
WASHINGTON, D.C./PITTSBURGH/SAN DIEGO - April 3, 2004 - Hull McGuire
PC shareholder Daniel Hull will attend two international business law
conferences in May in Rome, Italy.
Between May 5 and 7, Hull will attend a three day meeting in Rome of
the Business Development Group (BDG) of the International Business Law
Consortium (IBLC). The IBLC, based in Salzburg, Austria, is a group of
60 law and accounting firms in strategically located cities worldwide.
It is an arm of the Center for International Legal Studies (CILS), also
in Salzburg.
IBLC Business Law Group
The IBLC’s Business Development Group is a London-based off-shoot
of the IBLC which Hull co-founded in 1999 with lawyers from Western
Europe, South America, Asia and Australia. It provides a working legal
network for corporate clients to use across the globe.
"Each of the law firms in the Business Development Group is very
much like Hull McGuire: high-end corporate boutiques who work
internationally," Hull said. "BDG firms are carefully screened
to ensure quality and attentive customer service." "Fortune
500 clients are using the IBLC’s Business Development Group rather
than using traditional large law firms -- with much higher overheads --
for international legal services," according to Hull. "Clients
get high quality legal products with real service and lower price."
Congress of Fellows
The second Rome meeting is of the Second Annual Convocation of the
Congress of Fellows of the CILS, an honorary group in which Hull is a
Fellow. Membership is based on contributions to the international
business law community in publishing or speaking. The Congress of
Fellows meeting, also in Rome, is May 7-9. Subjects discussed will be
international Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) and doing business in
Italy. The first Convocation of the Congress of Fellows was in Budapest,
Hungary in 2003, which Hull also attended. Firms from 32 countries
attended.
In the May meetings in Rome, Hull will speak on ADR internationally.
